Fundamental concepts and procedures of descriptive statistics, including frequency distributions and their graphical representation, measure of central tendency, measures of variability and simple linear regression. Also covers elementary probability, discrete and continuous probability distributions, sampling theory, and inferential statistics including estimation and hypothesis testing. Prerequisites: MA110, MA 139 or higher math course, or ACT math score of at least 23.
Course tuition is calculated at $80 per credit hour.
